Edgemont is located on the west side of Edmonton, made up of the smaller areas of Timbering of Edgemont, Edgemont and Woodhaven Edgemont. The community is Edgemont is bounded on the west by Winterburn Road, south by the Wedgewood Ravine, east by Anthony Henday Drive and north by Lessard Road. Edgemont has planned for two major commercial sites, including a 9.8-acre centre at the intersection of Lessard Road and 199th Street, and one neighbourhood convenience site.
