As part of the Heritage Valley development, Cavanagh residents will benefit from the 280 acres of land becoming Heritage Town Centre. Students of Cavanagh get to attend the new Dr. Lila Fahlman Kindergarten to grade 9 school. Child care is conveniently located inside Dr. Leila Fahlman school. The announcement of plans to build a new high school in Heritage Valley has been released and the current government has committed to the school is a top priority and is expecting to begin construction in late 2019 or early 2020.

Located in Allard, there is the year-round playground and a sports fields. For a little break from the winter blues head over to the Allard Skating Rink. Cavanagh is located right off the QEII Highway. Head North into the City or head South towards the new Leduc Common. Leduc Common will have a Costco, many outlet stores and is home to the future race track.
